• Look over the essay topics choose 2-3 you are interested in. Or create your own.

Tuesday (2/9)

• RL: Use the Newsela article about nuclear energy. PRO/CON: Amid climate change, should we use more nuclear power? After having read the article complete the Write tab and Quiz tab. Be prepared to discuss the article and your findings tomorrow.

• WordMasters Challenge Tomorrow- Be ready!
• Continue working on beginning research (# 1 on Smart Searching)
• Book Club Meets Tomorrow "A Likely Place"(finish, 2x, and notes)

• Locate sources on topic for argumentative essay
• Read over rubric and essay checklist

• Read over the long weekend. Record time spent reading on your reading log.
